Eva Césarová

Ever since I was a young girl I loved playing with words, poems, stories and, most recently, songs. I am fascinated by the possibilities that “words” open up for us. Just as I fell into altered states of consciousness and their potential in my adolescence. I delight in discovering expressions and phrases to describe the indescribable.

My undergraduate (2013) and graduate studies in Marketing Communications and Film Production were accompanied by exuberant parties where I got a taste of nightlife in all its psychoactive aspects. My fascination with the general change of attitude towards psychoactive substances, not just psychedelics, is therefore rooted in personal experience.

My formal studies culminated in June 2021, when I completed a Master’s degree in Addiction Studies at the 1st Faculty of Medicine, at Charles University in Prague. By then, my work in the psychedelic space was already well underway.

In 2015 I was invited to co-found the Czech Psychedelic Society. Having studied advertising, I was delighted to conduct PR for a topic that had always fascinated me. Co-founding the Czech Psychedelic Society opened up a whole new world for me, initiating an ongoing journey of self-discovery. It became my greatest passion and also my greatest paradox related to becoming aware hand in hand with complete restructuralization of who I am and what life I want to live. There has been no turning back.

I have been organizing educational events ever since the start of Czech Psychedelic Society in 2015. For more than 6 years I have been the coordinator for its “External Affairs” department. Since 2018, I have been working at the National Institute of Mental Health as a media representative for psychedelic research. Since 2018 I am actively involved in the PSYRES Foundation for Psychedelic Research (www.psyres.eu). In 2023 and 2024 I worked as a researcher in the Destigmatisation research study run under the 3rd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University.

In 2023 I co-founded the Sarava foundation, an establishment that supports the indigenous people. Through Sarava, we have opened the space for intercultural dialogue, allowing for greater representation of indigenous voices here in Europe.

Occasionally, I also help with PR, production and promotion for projects that are close to my heart and fulfill my values – creating in harmony with nature and mutual respect.
